Over the last few months, we have been researching different forms of Web 2.0 applications that are available today. I have found this whole process very fascinating. For those who don't know, Web 2.0 is jargon that describes all the new forms of websites out there. Here are a few examples: Digital media exchange = YouTube, Microblogging = Twitter, Social Networking = Facebook and Collaborative websites = PBWiki. That last one was new to me, as well, when I first started researching this area.
All of these applications are Web 2.0 based and create new ways for information to be exchanged. Through the term, I have created accounts on all these websites.
You can find me at:
YouTube: CassielDirge
Twitter: Lynn_duh
PBWiki: plynda.pbwiki.com
I have learnt a lot about these areas and understand how some people can spend hours on the internet updating all their websites. I want to continue to use these applications to further my skills in these areas and promote myself online. I have decided to pool all of these applications onto this blog. You will see my Twitter feed down the right sidebar and I will update my Youtube videos there as well.
And just for kicks, here's a video of Jumpstyle dancing. Anyone who was in Denis's class this year, will know this video well:
Adios for now!
