Web 2.0

For those who are not in Denis's "New Media" class, I will explain what that is.
Web 2.0 is the phrase given to all the new forms of applications used on the internet. Most people interact with Web 2.0 on a daily basis without even realising. Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Blogging, YouTube, Delicious, Second life etc. are all forms of Web 2.0. These are social networking sites, communication sites and bookmarking sites.
I will be blogging on these forms of Web 2.0 over the next few weeks. My first blog entry will be on Twitter, the micro-blogging website.
