The amount of stuff that I have: done, seen, achieved, lost, gained, dreamed, hoped, fought for, got separated from and won... has been incredible. I have been taken on this journey that has tested me in every aspect of my life. I left my childhood home, all my friends and family, social circles, hobbies, my very country and moved across the sea to England where I had to start from scratch. I have been taken out of my comfort zone and brought to a time in my life of 'growing', in so many ways.
I have been blessed with an amazing work environment which encourages my best and asks me to be all that I can be. I live in a beautiful part of the country with everything that I need (Most importantly a Cineworld). I have the resources to travel home a few times a year and the means to keep in contact with people back home in between. I have taken various steps to setting up a life for myself here and learning to roll with the various changes that happen around me.
With work, I have travelled all up and down the UK and I was able to save up and travel to North Africa. The amount of hours that I have spent driving, on trains, planes and even a boat. I hope that I have spent my time travelling wisely.
I have also met so many incredible people who have impacted my life in various ways. Some have remained but some have moved on; it was our time to part and I will never forget the good times and what you have taught me.
What else can I say? I am looking forward to seeing what this next year will have in store and how I will learn, adapt and grow.
