Busy busy busy bee... That's me

So... where did I leave off.

My last update was over a month ago. This is for many reasons, the main one being work and hobbies. I have an event coming up on the 19th March for over 400 people so getting the logistics together for that has been challenging at times. I have also been given a part in one of the plays that my drama society are putting on in May. So been busy learning my lines for that.

I also have been travelling. I took a quick weekend visit home. I am travelling quite a bit leading into my summer events, so I wanted to make sure I got some time at home. It was so great to go out with the gang, catch up with my brother, eat my fav foods, go to church with my parents, hug my mum and just enjoy being at home. For the weekend, I also brought around with me a tube of condensed milk, to snack on... don't judge me, this is the greatest invention ever!!

It was then back to work. Taking time at the weekends to watch the rugby with the lads. C'mon Ireland! While I was at home, I also picked up a lot of 'Irishy' things to decorate our office for Paddy's day (more on that after next week)

I also went to Edinburgh for the weekend to host a stand at an event. It was brilliant to fly up and have my equipment there waiting for me, as it was driven up by a colleague. I had such a lovely day chatting with one of our volunteers, talking to the event participants and sharing about our charity.

Then on Sunday, I got to explore the city. From my previous blogs, you will see that I have been to Scotland on numerous occasions over the last year. I love travelling up there with the stunning landscape, friendly people and similar history and culture to Ireland. I took the opportunity to visit Edinburgh castle, the Camera Obscura (you have to see it to understand) and then did some shopping around the city. I popped back to the B&B with a take away and curled up to watch some Scottish tv. On Monday, I flew back and it was time for yet another short week. I have a 5 day week next week before my big event.

I will update on how Paddy's day goes in our office and what celebrations happen then:
