I figured for my first ever post on this blogger thing, I wouldn't be all serious-like. I'd type the way I talk (even though my lecturer would lynch me). It feels more relaxed this way. I thought about writing this in book form (well a "Word" document if I'm honest) but it would get lost on my desktop. So, it was suggested to me to write a blog. The internet is the way to communicate with people now-a-days as everyone has an e-mail account. People have stopped asking for household addresses and go straight to msn addresses. Also, I would have access to millions of people. Otherwise it would just my friends who would reluctantly read my 100 page collection of wandering thoughts. As well, this way, I am able to write it at my leisure.
Recently, I've found that people don't meet up as often. The internet is responsible for a lot of this. One time, I found myself on a 5 way msn conversation with my college friends. Granted two live in different counties but there was no good reason why we couldn't have met up. We were all obviously free and hoping to chat to people. I understand it's daunting to go outside, when the central heating is so inviting, but everyone needs human contact. I am guilty myself of being a hermit at times (expecially that time between 5pm and 1am the day before an assignment is due).
However, I'm trying to meet up with people more. I find meal times are quite handy. Everyone needs to eat and everyone gets time off to eat. Also, if there's an awkward silence you can just stuff your face and think of something to say. Food can bring people together, especially food that can be shared. I love meeting up with a friend for tortillas or bannoffi (but that's saved for a certain friend). Also, I've found out how long I can stretch a tea. I've been known to spend up to 4 hours c

Speaking of friends, I'm due to meet my friend.
Sorry internet, you loose this round.
