Simelar to most people, who just finished college, I am currently looking for a job. This has been a long, frustrating process, which continues to bother me every day. People don't realise how annoying it is to be unemployed [Correction: People who have jobs don't realise]. It is not the simple act of sitting around and doing what you want to. It is monotonous, hard work. Applying for jobs every day. Coming up with new ideas to entertain yourself for free. Taking walks, just to have something to do and get out of the house.
It is especially frustrating for those who are ineligible to apply for job seekers allowance until a certain period has passed since being in college.
For these reasons, I have tried to ignore my current situation by keeping myself occupied, while waiting for a job to magically appear, by organising events. I helped my brother with his wedding plans, I wrote out a business plan for my friend's clothing company, I helped organise a youth club's summer camp and now I'm organising an event for November. But shhhh... can't say what it is yet.
I have also been keeping entertained with TV and movies. Especially the MTV movie awards, that was a great show, Andy Samberg is quite funny.
This was my favourite part of the show:
